E-Bike tour on the South West side of mount Etna, technically challenging but exciting paths, specially designed for lovers and experts of Mountain Biking in E-MTB.
Thanks to our latest generation E-MTB you will realize that it will not be difficult to tackle sandy climbs, fast descents and single tracks, immersed in the valleys and lava flows of the majestic Etna volcano.
Start Point from Piano Vetore, Etna Sud (approximately 1.750 mt) with a circular tour, from there we will immediately enter the heart of the E-Bike tour and we will forward a dense wood characterized by a challenging uphill path, but which thanks to the using our E-Bike will make ride easier. At the end of the climb a short single track awaits us that crosses one of the most recent lava flows of the Etna volcano. Once out of the woods we will cycle towards the Pista Altomontana, a sandy path characterized by landscapes that only Mamma Etna can offer, and we will reach the Galvarina hut (approximately 1.850 mt) where we will make the first short relax break to enjoy the spectacular scenery of the South West side of mount Etna. Once the break is over, we will descend by E-Bike along a fast and fun trail, full of long technical hairpin bends and paths immersed in woods and century-old lava flows towards mount Ruvolo.
Once the descent is over, before the big climbs, we will stop near the Case Zampini hut, where you can enjoy small packed lunch (not provided by the ORG). After the stop, the excursion will continue with the first real uphill paths, characterized by a sandy surface and with little grip, but expertly interspersed with various technical and fast trails, so as not to take the E-MTB experience too far. The experience will end by reaching Piano Vetore again, the same starting point as the Tour.
